How to choose your equipment

Stages and structures are chosen by starting with three questions: how many people will be on stage and what they will do, where the stage will stand, and what needs to hang above it. A speaker or an award ceremony only needs a low riser, while a live band needs a solid stage with room for backline and, outdoors, a roof structure. We size truss by the weight it has to carry, whether that is lighting, speakers or an LED screen. For every project we calculate the loads and, where needed, prepare drawings before we arrive.

For a conference or a round of speeches we usually build a modular riser from Baltic Stage HEXA decks on height-adjustable legs, so the stage sits level on a smooth floor or an uneven lawn alike. For a concert or a product launch we add a BT Truss aluminium portal to hang lighting and screens, lifting larger structures on FOS towers with counterweights. We design, deliver and assemble every structure ourselves, and the team stays on site until the tear-down. We have worked in Vilnius and across Lithuania since 2010. Let us talk through your event and we will build a safe solution for your space.

Frequently asked questions

What size stage does a live band need?

It depends on the line-up: for a four or five piece band with drums we usually go for roughly a 6×4 m stage, leaving room for the backline and space to move. A smaller acoustic act only needs a low riser. We size the exact stage to your programme and space. Send us a short brief and we will propose a safe solution.

Does the stage work on uneven outdoor ground?

Yes. The stage legs are adjustable, so we set it up safely on an uneven lawn, on a slope or on paving. We assess the site before assembly and use extra base supports where needed. Let us talk through your event and we will confirm how the stage will stand at your venue.

How much weight can your truss structures carry?

That depends on the truss type and the span, so we calculate the loads for each project individually. We choose the structure around what it needs to lift, whether lighting, speakers or an LED screen, and provide load documentation for event safety when required. Send us your event brief and we will build a safe structure.

Can you hang lighting and an LED screen on the structure?

Yes, that is exactly what our BT Truss aluminium structures are for: we build a portal or a standalone frame to hang lighting, sound and screens. We lift larger structures on towers with counterweights, and an experienced team assembles everything and stays until the tear-down. Let us talk through your event and we will design the right solution.
