How to choose your equipment
Special effects are chosen around a moment, not around spectacle. Start by deciding where your event needs a peak: a couple's first dance, an awards pause, a brand launch or the closing of the night. That moment dictates the effect. Low fog, or heavy smoke, creates a cloud that hugs the floor for a first dance; confetti and CO₂ blasts suit a sudden climax; and light stage haze simply sharpens the light beams without clouding the room. Indoors we always check whether the venue's ventilation and fire alarm allow the chosen effect.
Typical configurations: an intimate event of up to 100 guests usually needs one fog generator for the lighting and a couple of confetti shots for the finale. For weddings the most popular pairing is a low-fog machine for the first dance with cold sparks or a CO₂ accent. For a concert or brand event we place several CO₂ jets, confetti blowers and a stronger fog generator on stage, so the effect reaches the whole room. Every effect is run by our operator, so each blast lands exactly on the musical beat. We work full cycle: we deliver, install and stay on site until the tear-down. Which effect works best for a wedding first dance?
The most popular choice is low fog, or heavy smoke: it settles across the floor and creates a cloud that leaves only the couple's silhouette visible. We often pair it with cold sparks or a light CO₂ accent for the peak. An operator triggers the effect at exactly the right moment. Will heavy smoke set off the fire alarm?
Heavy smoke stays near the floor and rises far less than ordinary haze, so it rarely triggers alarms. Even so, every space reacts differently, so before the event we always clear its use with the venue and, if needed, temporarily cover the sensors. Will we have to clean up the confetti ourselves?
No, we handle it: during tear-down we collect the confetti and leave the space clean, so the venue has nothing to worry about. Outdoors we use biodegradable confetti that does not harm the environment. We choose the material based on whether the event is indoors or under open sky. Can special effects be used outdoors?
Yes. CO₂ blasts, confetti and foam blowers work well outdoors, while fog and smoke effects are chosen according to the wind: in a stronger breeze low fog disperses quickly.
