Privacy policy

This is a courtesy translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Lithuanian version prevails.

1. General provisions

This privacy policy describes how MB „RTA PRO“ (legal entity code 305823720, registered office at Veneros g. 9, Vilnius; hereinafter "we" or the "Company") processes the personal data of visitors to the rtapro.lt website. We process data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the GDPR) and the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania.

2. What data we collect

We collect only the data you provide yourself:

• via the inquiry form: your name, phone number, email address and the content of your message (the event details you describe);
• when creating a customer account: your name, email address, phone number, company name (if provided) and password (stored only as a protected irreversible hash, never in plain text);
• when placing an equipment order via your account: the list of selected equipment, rental dates and notes — these are stored in your order history;
• when applying via the careers form: your name, contact details and the information you provide about your experience.

While you browse the website, technical data may be collected via cookies. We describe them in detail in the cookie policy.

3. Purposes of data processing

• to respond to your inquiry;
• to prepare and submit a service quote;
• to create and administer your customer account and display rental prices;
• to accept, coordinate and fulfil equipment rental orders;
• to evaluate your job application (careers form);
• to stay in touch regarding order coordination and fulfilment.

We do not use your data for direct marketing without your separate consent.

4. Legal basis

• consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR), which you give voluntarily by submitting the inquiry or careers form or by creating an account;
• performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR) — to administer your account and fulfil equipment rental orders;
• legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) to respond to inquiries received, prepare quotes and keep the website running.

5. Data retention periods

We store inquiry data for 2 years from the last correspondence. Account data is stored for as long as the account is active; upon your request to delete it, the data is removed or anonymised. Once the retention period expires, the data is deleted or anonymised, unless longer storage is required by law (for example, accounting requirements after a contract is concluded).

6. Data recipients

We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for marketing purposes. Access to the data may be granted only to the IT service providers we engage (website hosting and email services), who act under data processing agreements and only to the extent necessary to provide the service.

Some website features rely on third-party services whose servers may be located outside the European Economic Area (USA); data is transferred to them under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards:

• Vimeo Inc. — video playback: when you click a video, your IP address is transmitted to the Vimeo player. We use "Do Not Track" mode, so Vimeo sets no tracking cookies. No data is sent to Vimeo until you click.
• Google (Analytics) and Meta (Pixel) — only after you give consent in the cookie banner (see the cookie policy).

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• access your personal data;
• request that inaccurate data be corrected;
• request that your data be deleted (the "right to be forgotten");
• restrict data processing;
• receive your data in a structured format (right to data portability);
• object to processing based on legitimate interest;
• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

8. Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe your data is being processed improperly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate (VDAI): L. Sapiegos g. 17, 10312 Vilnius, email ada@ada.lt, website vdai.lrv.lt. We always encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve the matter directly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when legislation or our data processing practices change. The latest version is always published on this page, with the update date shown at the top.
